Do you think the bass is a Gibson? Long ago one fellow posted an Ibanez Lawsuit NR it reminds me more of that.

I recently shipped a PJ Bass from VA to CA two day priority insured for $950 via USPS.Box and gig bag for $117

I always save my incoming boxes and bubbles for the next one going out.

The sound is so perfect right now I'm afraid to do anything to the bass that might effect the mojo.
Heck, I haven't even cleaned the COVID embedded scum off of the tuning keys or pickup cover. The tuning keys are actually downright gross to touch, feels like they were played hard and put away wet, many times. I'm leaving the encrusted chrome that way for now as I work on my herd immunity - what doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger, so they say.
Besides, whomever it was that abused the tuning keys also had their grubby little fingers (hopefully nothing else) all over the strings. I shudder to think of what dead skin and germs are imbedded in the windings, and those strings are staying on. I think I'm up to date on all my tetanus shots.
As I understand it, yes.I've just been looking for a string nut for my new "project", as it doesn't appear to have one, and I've discovered something I was unaware of.
The nut width on my Epiphone Thunderbird IV is about 1 11/16", give or take (1.73" according to Google searches). The Project (really need a new name for that...) is an Epiphone Thunderbird Classic Pro, apparently, which is listed as having a 1.5" nut width.
Is this:
A) accurate?
B) the same as Gibson Thunderbirds?

That is insane. I paid $1200 shipped from Texas to CA in January. It’s a great bass and I’ll never part with it. Good luck to the seller at that price. I think we kinda figured out that there were 400 of those and 400 bursts, most made near the end of ‘12 and called ‘13s.
