Most folks that treat the water in their swimming pools have used it to lower the pH if it gets too high. Yes, like any acid, it can be nasty stuff if safety directions aren’t followed.

I listened to a song my band error with my raw bass track on it- Epi CP through a SansAmp DI. Yep, that's why Thunderbirds. I really did this bass.
Maybe next year for a VP, but I'm happy with my 2013 CP.

My VP is easier to play (neck feel) but the CP punches my aural buttons better.

Watermelon being only slightly acidic I'm sure he has some chemical trick to "enhance" the process--it may work very well, but who really wants to own a bottle that says PillO Pee on it? Yes it is. As you mentioned, even in it's container it will rust metal around it. Nasty stuff. Good for a number of things, but a pain to have around.

Oh, I don't know. I like having them so it's all complete. I even have spacers and the mutes and felts. I'll seriously think on it Chuck, and if I decide to, you be the first to know.

If you store a jug of muriatic acid it will permeate the surrounding shelves and drawers and age all the metal stuff nicely.

Muriatic acid is used to clean concrete garage floors before epoxy coating them. It seems to cut grease reasonably well.
