The Inverness Green is stunning. It's very interesting seeing all the variation between the promo pics for the new NRs and seeing pics of ones people own. Very different, but all look great. As do the other two color options.

Might be the most unpopular choice, but the Sparkling Burgundy is strongly growing on me. And I liked it already.

I can think of at least one person around here who would agree with Sparkling Burgundy as a color choice.

If they had offered Burgundy Mist Metallic, I might have had to consider one, even though I don't want a NR.

Looks to me like I need some greenish or blueish pastel type color with lots of chrome maybe in a NR shape, gee I wonder where I could find something like that.

Those two on the ends look really uncomfortable to play.

Why put off the inevitable, a beautiful Siren calls you - just give in.

That would very hard to resist, I agree. Maybe someday that'll be offered on a reverse or NR. Gibson finally seems to be more willing to branch out color-wise on basses, so we can only hope.

I'm not usually a gold person, but that Bullion Gold is one fine looking bass.

LOL - gotta love camera angle distortion.
The one on the left is a FrankenGoth (super light weight Eppi Goth due to an unfortunate but necessary lower “hornectomy”. Some day when the right donor comes along she’ll get a body transplant) The one on the right is a Spector Rex5 and is a dream to play, solid maple body with rock maple neck through design, roughly the same dimensions as the gold bird in the middle.

Yep. I said it many times here, my '06 is near perfection. About as near as human hands can get as far as I'm concerned.
