Very nice! I may never have had a Mesa, but I did have a Berg cab that treated me very well. Great stuff!
Question: My beloved late 70s early 80s MXR Phase 90 has been acting up. The last few Sundays it would make some crazy and loud popping sound after engaged for a few seconds. Makes my 410s really hop. Like shorts or some kind. So I brought it home to see if it did it there, but can't get it to do anything, batter or power supply or both. Anyone ever run into this? It's fantastic sounding and hate to toss it, but everything has an expiration date I suppose.
Any recommendations on Phasers given this is likely done for?
It sold, AFAICT. I would have been excited about it if it had frets.

Quick update. Guitar Center just called me from a Virginia store telling me the blue one is lightly damaged, saying there's a finish crack under the bridge. They are taking off 20 bucks, if I still wanted it. I asked what the return policy is, and they said I can still return it. I told them to send me a picture before I agree to taking it. It might be nothing much, but I might just say forget it and just take the burgundy. We will see.
Not sure what any potential hassle might be returning a scratch and dent model. I also think 20 bucks isn't much of a discount on what should be a brand new bass, but I'll see what the pics look like.
What are your thoughts?

$20? That's a joke... shoot, $200 wouldn't be good enough if it's noticeable from more than a few feet away.
I'd just go for the red, and not worry about the blue
But, I may be biased....![]()
You?? Naah...I'd just go for the red, and not worry about the blue

The Red is calling!
The Red is calling!
....When I asked which of the two ones I ordered was damaged, I was more “relieved” that it was the blue one, if that makes sense. So deep down it may be the red is the answer.
You?? Naah...

I got the pics<snip>
