Thunderbird Club

Stunning scenery. As for that car, it's a Triumph, so it's not quite sure if it'll start...
got my doubts about this one too…

And once again, miss FixIts home for disabled gear brings another one back to life.
I love a happy ending. :)

:)

I've always liked tinkering on broken things - when I was younger & still into cars (before computers/electronics started to take that spot), I liked to find old broken-down cars in fields & such, and drag them home (sometimes literally.... ), and tinker on them just enough to get them drivable again. Then I'd generally lose interest & sell or swap it for something else that was broken.

You so need a YouTube channel.

As long as I don't have be in it :rollno: Or talk :rollno::rollno:
I really don't like being on camera, still or video :nailbiting:

I don't know why Gibson doesn't just put the button there in the first place. It's there on all of my 'Birds, the P-Bird, the EB-2, and I moved it there on the 2013 EB. The EB was fine with the button in the original location, but it was limited in what you could do with it. It was like a Fender, in that it had one spot where it wanted to be and that was it. With the pin relocated, it can hang wherever I want it to, not where it wants to.
Nah. Gibson knows best.

Yeah, the arrogance of Thunderbird experts here is nothing short of being based on fact. Who do these people think they are here anyway? If it was the right and wise thing to do, doggone-it...Gibson would certainly have done it as their great track record demonstrates. I mean, think about it, you have a perfect Thunderbird PU and PU placement that works on an epic level. So clearly the right thing to do is change both. Who in their right mind would ever question such logic?
