i like that bass very much. i thinks its one of the best basses (small) money can buy. right out from the box and of course after some mods. the neck is one of the best necks i ever played.
the only thing that make me despondent is the weight.
if it was little lighter, its was the perfect bass for me.
maybe one day i will switch to another light weight body.

Dude i was just telling my wife about this but i want the new sunburst finish! Already have bad ass bridge ready to slap on!man thats sweet! Where are you getting decal from?

To anyone who has replaced the pickups in a VM jazz, did it make a big difference? I'm looking for a bit more output and beefier mids. SD quarter pounders perhaps?

Just about any pickup will give you the output. I did the Dimarzio UltraJazz in a different bass, but that had similar stock sound...
It was amazing.
Do it! The SDs sound like they'd have more of the mids, Ultras were more scooped.

ok guys, really sorry about the late update. i havent had internet since november, which is about when numbers were last updated. had some extra time today on the gf's computer so i did a huge update. bare with me guys, ill keep as up to speed as i can. i am currently modding my squier II and have a 5 string maybe in the works...that oughta make up for it.
