why wouldnt it? i dont see why not.

ive stated in earlier posts, not to bash you or anything, but the purpose of this thread is to show off what mods have been done to squiers. there are lots of hardware discussion going around here, but the OP is pretty clear. just trying to stay on topic. thanks for stopping by though.

The cv has a high mass bridge , the cover it comes with is higher to fit, thus i dont think a standard cover will work.

Anyways....

I think his point is that this thread is more of a "beauty pageant" than a "tech thread". In threads like this, things tend to get bogged down quickly if everyone starts getting into the "what parts did you use", and "how did you do this" questions.

There's a "Squier Perfect Fit" mods thread that is designed to answer the tech stuff. It's usually on the first page or two, but I think it has fallen back over the past few days.

Your question was fine, and asking it was fine - Gord Oh was just saying that this isn't the right thread.

So - back to pics of tricked out Squiers :)

I don't know if I posted this one in the thread or not -

And these are also Squiers....more or less....at least they "started out" as Squiers :)

It's an AWESOME PLAYER and the tone kills!! I love it.

From thedude:

-Gotoh bridge
-Tonerider pickups
-Stacked controls and plate from a Lakland JO
-Switchcraft jack

-Tortoiseshell pickguard. Edge of both this and the original, included black pickguard have been professionally cut to match the edge of the JO control plate (it is ever so slightly different than the stock Squier one

-Headstock logo decal removed and replaced with a Fender 70's Jazz decal and then clear coat finished over by a professional luthier. He also removed the Made in China or wherever it was stamp on the back of the head.
