Here are a few pics of my new to me Fury. I used to hate on Peavey basses, but now am playing a different tune. Best P-Bass I have ever owned. I was surprised when I took the pickguard off, 250 K pots and solid wiring to boot. It shows its age quite well, but plays like "butta". Sorry for the cell phone pictures but I cant find my camera anywhere.
That's exactly what mine looked like before I refinished it. It is a sweet playing bass, no doubt.
Peavey never did plywood on the U.S. basses. Can't say anything about the BXP versions, but I'd doubt it.

some of the imports were ply... nothing to be worried about.. Many of the recording requests I receive are from a ply import.
