back to Peaveys...the more I play my Palaedium, the more I like it...the skinny neck took a bit of getting used to but the sound and feel are exactly what I was looking for in a new bass. Between that and my T-40, I'm a happy guy...in fact a T-40 neck (rosewood board) would be really perfect for me

Body looks to have been shaved down, and there is something funky behind the neckplate... looked like they shaved it down as well, found it didn't work, then put a piece of wood there to return it to normal. Since you can find completely stock T-40's for near this price, the fact that they're trying to get that much for this one is an utter joke. It's going to sit there until they mark it down, but if the markdown isn't to $50, I will never touch it. YMMV.

I'm going to echo this with my recently acquired Sarzo (my first Peavey). After playing it at home for a couple of weeks I finally gigged it over the weekend and I couldn't be happier. I love the neck and overall feel - very comfortable indeed - and it sounded wonderful through my Thunderfunk/Baer ML112 rig.

It's a whole lot of really nice bass that was well worth the $450 I paid for it. I am very glad I grabbed it.:D:D

I have a passive Koa Unity - at least I had one.
Ever since it arrived, my son has adopted it as his own.
It's a simple, wonderful bass. Lightweight and not too bad to look at, either.

One's fretted the other is factory fretless with the factory install D-tuner. Its also upgraded with a matched pair of Bart's

Totally agree. The middle strip doesn't look like Koa the whole way through - even though the Owner's Manual says it is.

I read a post somewhere commenting on that strip and the "stripe" in that mid-scetion was discoloration caused by sap in the Koa. Regardless, I think it's kinda cool looking, and the only time I see it is in pictures.
