I know you've already sold it, but that's the coolest color on a T-45 that I've seen yet.
If I lived within 100 miles of Boulder, I'd have already scooped this up:

Wow. That is a steal. I paid $300 for one that nice years back. Sounded great. Had to offload it when I started to develop shoulder problems and anything over 10lbs had to go, but it was always a solid bass.
I'd swim from Scotland to Boulder but just know it would get sold as I put my boots back on.
I can relate, I have a candy apple red 80's Foundation lost in the UPS Exception Void.
No word on where it is, was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday.
I guess I'll just have to get off my butt and refinish the Fury I've got.

This ain't Peavey USA but I'm happy with it. A few weeks back I picked up a Zodiac DE body and was planning on using the neck from the Zodiac EX.
Didn't work though, EX is only 20 frets but Peavey UK are selling off some parts so I've put a Millennium neck on her and UK made Entwistle pickups,
an old P bass bridge and Westone tuners I had lying around. Took a couple of hours to put together as the pickups were bigger than the Seymour 1/4 lbs'ers.
So I had to widen the neck pickup rout and grind a bit off the chromed plate.Strung with Rotosound Nexus it plays a treat.
Sorry for the lousy photo guys, I've no experience trying to snap gloss black and chrome indoors with a £5 camera
I'll be back on track though with Peavey USA by the end of the month.

Back on track earlier than I thought
This was due to arrive on Thursday at the earliest and I'm away working till the end of the month on Tuesday so it a coming today was a great surprise.
Bought on ebay a mere 8 days ago from a car breakers yard in Tennessee so another bass travels 5000 miles. Special mention must go to the seller 101
Auto Sales for being really great . When the bass shipped I got an email saying after considering the distance it had to go they felt it was best it was in
a hard case so they'd upgraded from the gig bag at no extra cost.
I've just unpacked and tuned her up, neck was set properly and intonation is bang on so all good for this well played and well travelled bass.
Just posting some pictures first then I'll post my thoughts after having some time to play her.

It's got a real vibe to it. And the neck on the Patriot is settling down nicely too.
Might keep it BEAD for a while though it's so much fun to play that way.

I strung my Patriot (single super-ferrite pickup like the T-20) BEAD for a year or two, really loved it, very growly tone.
I have a 1990 Fury and LOVE it. I am looking for another. Anyine interested in a sweet Peavey Mark IV head. I just put new tolex, corners, feet, vent grill, power cord, etc on it. I would MUCH rather sell it to a Peavey fan than someone off of ebay. Have it listed in the classifieds, lowering the price today.

I have an obsession for wood. The musical kind.
Still loving my Axcelerator 5. I'm rather ambivalent about the Wilkinson low mass bridge though. Maybe if the individual saddle components didn't have the ability to slide side to side when tension is off the strings.... It needs a set screw to lock each one down.... Does anyone know if there's a drop in replacement that doesn't need new holes drilled in the body?
