So I got my Fury in the other day and the electronics need some work. Unfortunately, I think as much as I had GAS for a P-style bass, it isn't really my thing. That or I am just not digging the Duncan SPB-2. What I do love is the sexy thin neck on that thing. The bad part is I love it so much it is now on my T-40....which having one more fret than the T-40's neck caused some issues with the intonation. So the light bulb went on and against my better judgment took the Schaller roller bridge that was installed on the Fury and drilled holes for it on the T-40. Now if I ever wanted to revert, the holes will be covered by the T-40's bridge. The only downside is three holes from the original bridge are visible but thats no biggie for me. Since my digital camera decided to die on me I'll have to rely on my phone. I'll have some pics of the blasphemy up later.
Well for whatever reason I changed my mind and my T-40 and Fury are back to normal. It was a fun experiment but I bought the Fury so I could have a P style bass not part it out. But here are some crappy phone pics of my T-40/Fury hybrid.

Not to be nitpicky, but this is all about Peavey's made in the USA - that one was made in Indonesia. Nice looking bass, though!
Yup. Somebody needs to hook this guy up with a Foundation or a Millennium Plus!
I did play one of those Cirrus BXP fivers in the "natural darkwood" finish and it sounded really good - played nicely too. Maybe we need to start a Peavey Bass Owners club. I think I might do that.
