I noticed last night that I could not find a serial number on my Gbass. Did they not use them or am I just overlooking it somehow?

You found a GV?! Details man I need details! PM me if you need too but I need specifics. Oh yeah and pics or it doesn't exist.
Floyd Eye..your Dyna would be awsome with my tux.
MTMTEX...that's quite a nice herd. I always really liked the TL-6 but the neck just doesn't fit my hand and I really tried. I need to find a TL-5 beater cheap enough I could mod with a P/J set. You need one more with the HBs.

Quick question for you guys since ill be treading into new territory. Ive never swapped pickups on any of my own basses and recently ive considered it. The problem i have is the pickup covers (or maybe its mre in depth). I want some EMG pickups in a beat up peavey im going to try and throw together. The porblem is the mounting of the EMG according to the pics on their site is a lot different (one or two screws on the left and right of the pickup) then the stock pickups (the 2 screws on the top and bottom of each pickup) currently in the body. Am i SOL as far as those pickups go and need to find something else or is there a way around it?
Does anyone know if TL-5's were ever offered lefthanded?
You just have to carefully drill new small pilot holes in the new positions. Carefully, because the body isn't very thick at that point and you don't want to drill all the way through the back of the bass. Take a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw, and then drill only as far as you need to. I measure the length I need to prevent drilling through, then wrap a piece of masking tape around the bit at the point so I can see just how far to go.
Ouch, i guess ill have to find some different pickups. I dont mind a little work but i dont like having to modify stuff to that extent unless i decide to find and put stock stuff back in later. Thanks for the info though.
Volume4...that's definately the nicest sunburst I've seen.
