Lemmy is not a bass player. He is Lemmy. And Lemmy is god like. All Hail!!!
Great minds think alike....
Cliff Burton is most overrated, underrated is Oliver Riedel![]()
Sharay Reed!
I'm agnostic, and as such gospel music really isn't my "wheelhouse", but I feel like a stalker with as many times as I've listened to the clip below! No crazy slap licks or ridiculous tempo, just a pocket deep enough to lose a broom handle...
Aww man…you beat me to it! Still, I wholeheartedly agree.
i know some people say that bassists use effects to hide "the real bass playing" in the band.
Without getting TOO far off topic, I will say that this clip shows folks doing a GREAT job making "a joyful noise unto the Lord" and IMO, if more folks expressed their faith as a source of joy and celebration, rather than a rigid and narrow dogma of conservatism, less young people would be confused and disappointed in the message.I am an atheist raised in a strict religious household. I love gospel music and often wonder if I would have had the same aversion to religion if this was my Sunday experience.
