I actually sold a set of used strings on Amazon. They were on a bass for about two days. And right now I have a set of short scale TI Flats listed as Used for sale. They really are just like new, its just that I snipped them just a little and then decided they did not fit right on the bass, but could not return them. So, another example of used strings that really are not used.
