Yeah, me too. I wish you didn't pay of one either....
Now, see... that's funny. I can appreciate that. But keep in mind folks (and this includes the mods) trolls won't generally purchase memberships.

At least it's not made under contract to Behringer in China!(also Marcus IS back with SWR and the M2 amp/pre-amp IS coming out- and EVERYthing by SWR is now made in Mexico- but thats another thread....)

You've heard of TB's resident headstock whores, have you not???....though I do find it funny that when he was using Bergs they got all sorts of praise on here, but once he uses Hartke there's a shocked response...

victor's endorsment deal with ampeg ran out, I do not know why...
I hope the pissing contests stop, as this isnt the place for it.
From what I just heard, a LOT of their endorsers have been dropped or not had deals "renewed".
Almost all actually.

New direction? the company was sold a year or two ago..
What's the rest of it?
Sorry, was short on time!!
That and the old artist rep is no longer with them, who was pivotal in developing the program and really putting Ampeg in front of players again.
But since the buy-out and now that everything is made overseas, that combined with the lack of customer service that even artist were NOT getting, it just all fell apart from what I understand.
Guys who once supported the artist program are gone and the new guys don't stand behind it.
Sad really. Ampeg is (was??) sorta the default go to "All American Bass Amp".
