Wal Bass Club.

The doubleneck talk reminded me of an old bookmarked link on my laptop. I'm not sure if this has been posted before but this site is just boiling over with Wal information.

Here's a list of players/info:

A page of one-off Wal's:

she does look lonely... perhaps your should either adopt another one to keep her company

I kinda did buy a girl to keep her company....but different species. Just got her 2 days ago and have already taken it to a vintage expert for a clean bill of health...100% orig but the bone nut! Should be getting a written estimate in the mail soon! I imagine i will eventually add a new MKII to the family.....but i really wanted one of these for a long time.

Finally getting around to posting a pic of my Wal Brothers...black poly MKI Geddy model and walnut fretless MKII. They were both made in 2000...they are 10 digits apart in serial number. Needless to say, I love them both: the Wal electronics are a world apart from anything else (with perhaps the exception of Alembic---my Stanley Deluxe is also on "another level" from everything else).

The Wals win the contest for cutting through any guitar wall that stands in their way, though. And aggressive aggressive aggressive sound, with or without pick attack engaged. And, IMO, the Wal vibe is just plain super bad asssssss. Cheers!
