Wal Bass Club.

Ohhh, the plot thickens...that was TB'er Matthewfoote's bass.

Amazing Beauty! Generally I prefer solid colours or classic quilts with colour burst over bare wood tops, but that looks phantastic!

I think I see a MkII 5 and an MkII fretless 4 in my future...

Do you guys think it would it be possible to get a figured male top with blackburst finish?

Just entering the Wal shopping zone. What 'gallery'?
Are there any TB equivalents in the UK that may have a larger number of used Wal's advertised?

Thanks.

The only used Wal basses I know of is at the gallery, they have 2 4 strings and a 6 string. And also at bassdirect has a Mk2 but it cost as much as a new one but without the wait. Both are UK shops.

Hi Guys

It was my Wal that kulit17 now has. All my gear had to go as my hands now hurt too much to play so I made the sad decision to sell everything and protect my hands for as long as possible:bawl:

I sold via The Gallery as it was simply easier to get someone else to sell it for me and do the sending off etc.

Hope Kulit17 has as much fun with it as I did.

Regards to everyone

Matthew

Matt, she's in good hands and has become a proud member of my family! I am preparing for her citizenship as we speak since her arrival to the states Monday.

Good luck with all your future endeavors!

Check out a 1981 wal mk 1 custom on Calgary kijji website. 4100$ Canadian. Worth a look for local talkbassers. Out of my price range :bawl:

Not worth $4100

-Neck has been broken and "professionally" repaired
-The only one in Canada?...lmao (he has no idea what he is talking about)
-He says he is VERY knowledgeable on these basses..lol
-I would be a betting man and guess he doesnt even know that you have to put a dummy 1/4" in the jack to get the XLR to work. (i sent him an email explaining this) He had put in the ad that the xlr was disconnected ...lol. So look for that to change in his ad.
-To me, no pics of case means its beat to S$#T and some of the clasps do not work.
