Wal Bass Club.

Oh my goodness- I placed my order in late April of 2021. Didn't realize I was so close to that cutoff!
Starting to get that itch. Hoping to get that magic email from Paul saying it's time to finalize specs. Last I heard back was late 2021.
I placed my order in January of 2021 and just finalized my specs last week. It shouldn’t be much longer until you hear from Paul :)

I'm considering getting a set of Schaller M4S Lights for the second neck I ordered. Anyone in the USA have any USA-based sources they'd prefer, over buying direct from Schaller with overseas shipping?

Also on my Mk1, the Schaller logo is just a letter 'S', while the Schaller web site shows the full "Schaller". This doesn't bother me but is there any other difference in the tuners themselves, direct from Schaller vs what Paul installs? I'd prefer the exact same but can certainly live with that difference. I'd also like to confirm I'm buying the right thing before I commit to it, and the logo difference makes me want to be sure

What I'm looking at to potentially buy:

Thanks for any advice!!

Around 2018 when the Lights first came out they had the Schaller script logo, only lasted about a year, then changed to the S logo. So all the ones you buy should be the S version by now.

Tons of dealers in the US. I've used Arkansas guitar works for Schaller parts and they've been great.

I'm quite suprised you didnt get a 2nd set with that neck.

They look like the same part to me. Same number of teeth on the gears -- same ratio.

Thanks!!

I'm quite surprised you didnt get a 2nd set with that neck.

I was a little surprised too, but I guess I should have known to ask for them. If anyone puts in an order including a second neck, be sure to tell Paul you want a second set of tuners for it  Not a big deal. Thanks for the pointer to that shop, I've sent them a note! And thanks for the logo history too!
