Now I'm gassing for a lighter rig. Tired of lugging close to 200lbs of gear to every practice. I don't want my tone to change too much though. I really dig my Ashdowns.
For awhile, my GAS was gone. Just recently it kicked in full force. GC has a 1st edition Peavey Dynabass in very good condition with OHSC for $150. For $150, I almost feel like I have to buy it. I'm trying to quell the GAS but not doing a very good job. I've already contacted them about it and am pretty sure it will be in my hands by the end of next week.
Oh yeah, I am also GASing for a small pink child's guitar, for my daughter.

Are you GASsing for more basses of brands you already own or for other brands? Do you GAS more for basses, amps or effects?
This is the main thing I've been GASsing for. Rocco Prestia's Signature Conklin.
Like this? It might take a while, they only built 29 units. That said, one did pop up on ebay a few months ago, so hang in there.

Yeah, that was the one I missed out on. A TBer bought it. I was in the middle of a conversation with him about buying it from him, then he disappeared. AARRRRRGGGGHHHH!

only GAS I have is the need for more time to finish figuring out how to program the microkorg and save everything across all the patterns.
these are the kinds of things that need more than just a few minutes fiddling with the knobs.

I'm GAS'n for an ATK 200 now. I have an old 300 and played a new 200 last weekend and was totally blown away! That thing sounded and played awesomely!

The only thing that gets me excited anymore is the prospect of a cheapo from the 50's or 60's at a really good price. Otherwise I really think I'm done. Got two good Fenders, got a few other basses that are a pretty good variety from modern to extremely old school, and I really don't need anything else. I only play one on most gigs anyway.

It seems the obvious choice, given the reviews, the fact that I love building stuff, the 4 ohm advantage, and the fact that it will still fit in a Toyota Echo.
