My wife has got me hooked on this one
It's familiar for sure, nice.
I go about the same range, usually get something by the Gallo Family, especially Turning Leaf, I have the Five Oaks Cab Sauv in at the moment, half price

I prefer a good wheat beer during the summer. Even Blue Moon on a hot day tastes super awesome.
Started with a Sam Adams Noble Pils and finished with one of my favorites, Founder Kentucky Breakfast Stout.
For those who don't know me, Stone is hands down my favorite brewery in the US. I downed two 20 oz bottles and enjoyed every bloody drop of it.

i had some of that at a festival in Germany... i don't remember much afterwards.

So, Fassa, since you're from Newcastle... is that rumor about a "whole hospital full of people having an 'orrible twitch from drinking too much Newcastle Brown Ale" just an urban legend or not? This story has been told to me by numerous Brits so I have imagine the story has legs for some reason. Hardly seems likely though as the beer is quite bland and not very alcoholic in taste.
I got a sixer of this tonight and it ain't bad, but it reminds me more of a pilsner or helles. Light and refreshing; maybe a nice summer beer.been really enjoying this one lately:
Very full-flavored, maybe a tad heavy for having with food other than maybe a burger or something of the sort, but the balance is just right otherwise.
What I'm really excited about is that I actually found a 4 pack of my all time favorite doppelbock, Ayinger Celebrator. I love that stuff!
No ... this is the man's version of light beer:
1026 OG should translate into about 2.8% alcohol. But it's hopped like a Sierra Nevada and has a lot of crystal malt and a long boil to give it enough backbone to handle the hops. Went in the fermenter today.
This will be a solid yard-work beer.
