Whoops, not got my glasses on...:D

So, Fassa, since you're from Newcastle... is that rumor about a "whole hospital full of people having an 'orrible twitch from drinking too much Newcastle Brown Ale" just an urban legend or not? This story has been told to me by numerous Brits so I have imagine the story has legs for some reason. Hardly seems likely though as the beer is quite bland and not very alcoholic in taste.

been really enjoying this one lately:

Very full-flavored, maybe a tad heavy for having with food other than maybe a burger or something of the sort, but the balance is just right otherwise.
I got a sixer of this tonight and it ain't bad, but it reminds me more of a pilsner or helles. Light and refreshing; maybe a nice summer beer.

What I'm really excited about is that I actually found a 4 pack of my all time favorite doppelbock, Ayinger Celebrator. I love that stuff!:hyper:

No ... this is the man's version of light beer:

1026 OG should translate into about 2.8% alcohol. But it's hopped like a Sierra Nevada and has a lot of crystal malt and a long boil to give it enough backbone to handle the hops. Went in the fermenter today.

This will be a solid yard-work beer.
