I learned you can play a walking bass line on a theremin:

And in any key?I have learned pretty convincingly, Michael Jackson's Rock With You on bass for a cover band I sometimes sit in with.
A far cry from Country.
I manage to learn about 15 to 20 (pop-rock) songs a month even though I don't have to.
By "learn" I mean, have them called out on stage and I could play them unrehearsed with any band.
I just had a nice jolt of reminiscence, after seeing this woman's tee - #9167. So, I trundled off for some hopeful revisionism - to see if my muffled memory wasn't serving. Didn't take more than a second to find this juicy morsel: The myth of premenstrual moodiness.
So armed, and having donned the white coat, I'm gleefully shoring up the man cave and digging in - more ready than ever to absorb my beloved's next bellicose barrage and fire off a shot or two myself, in defence, across her bounteous but belligerent bow.
Who knows. I may just get a new amp or two out of this![]()

I learned today that no matter how high a priority I assign to a task that needs my attention, my supervisor will justify degrading it, pretty much to the point of ignoring it...
... which is why, nothing... I repeat, nothing... gets done these days...
In other words, beating your head against a wall just gets you a sore head. I've had several lessons in this at my work place...

I learned that the intonation of the E string on my BTB is sharp, but there's sod all I can do about it, because the spring is already fully compressed.
...or cut the one you have.Buy a shorter spring.

Buy a shorter spring.
Or a 5 string bass then even if the E string doesn't intonate, you have 80% of your strings still working.Or just buy a new bass. Or two new basses, just to be sure.
