What did you learn today?

I just now learned that the bottle of olive oil I keep on my stovetop is exactly the right width to, when inverted, get stuck between the stove and the fridge. (Do not ask how that happened; I could not have done it intentionally in a million attempts.)

Although the crack between the stove and the fridge did need a minor cleaning, I did not feel like doing it today. But I did.

I learned that they don't make single-locking Floyd Rose bridges for no reason.
If you pull up on the vibrato arm (not even with a great deal of force) the wire on the strings unravels from around the ball ends & it goes out to tune.
If you keep re-tuning it, eventually the ball end will just shoot out the back end of the bridge & the string is history!

I also learned that the guys at GC have no idea about how to install a vibrato arm & will blow smoke to a seller about how it would cost them $60 to install a vibrato arm.
and they will do whatever they can to screw up your order for a trade-in, but probably not on purpose.

Today I was in there about 90 minutes longer than I needed to be for a trade, because they kept fouling up my order or taking other customers ahead of me.
