What is the longest...

November 1980 purchased my 1981 Washburn SB-40 (still have it and still my favorite bass) as soon as it came out then as the new '81 model. Bought in a music store at the Hollywood and Vine intersection in Hollywood, CA (up Vine 2-3 stores from Hollywood intersection if anyone remembers it).

Not sure if this qualifies. Bought this in 69 or 70 from a girl who wanted to play drums. Her parents bought this Bass for her but she never played it, I did. I gave her (my mom did actually) $200 so she could buy a drum kit. Still have it. Working on a leather pick guard...

amount of time that You have been the SINGLE owner of a bass that You purchased NEW?

1982 Gibson Victory, Standard. Got in '82. My first bass. Still have.
1986 Kubicki, EX-Factor. Got in '87. Still have.
1988 Spector, NS2-A. Got in '89. Still have.

Rickenbacker 4001 purchased in 1974, sold in 2008. I really didn’t play it much after 1976 and sold it after I got my P-Bass Deluxe that I have to this day.
