What tube amp do you play?

2008 Ampeg SVT-VR

both 300 watts from 6 6550s/KT88s. love em both (id like a vintage ampeg again, i had a 71 blueline for awhile, the VR sounds identical and i just decided to keep the newer version for convenience).

What's the 15 watt Ashdown like?

It's a really good sounding amp. For a 15 watt amp amazing loud. But it is not a "full tube amp", because the preamp is a transistor based preamp. Only the power amp is tuby.
I sold this amp for a Ashdown LB30...

2 rig setup here:
The clean signal goes to a Dynacord Eminent II and through an Acoustic 301.
The dirty signal goes to a MusicMan HD 130 and through an Ampeg Isovent.

Ah, I didn't know that, how odd!

I've been looking at a smaller power tube amp, was looking at that and the LB30.

Also been looking at the Drophead 30 combo, I know it's basically just a made in England LB30 + speaker, but damn, it's pretty (and pretty expensive)!

Killer one, for the pricing... got a special deal on it,
its an Ashdown BTA 300, got for 1500CHF about 1600$, instead of 3000CHF, then made a trade against my orange AD200, wich i allways had problems with, in the end i spend about 200.- for it
totally hapy with it, sound is killer, lots of options, fits really nice with the ampeg cl 610, and can be loud hell

How do you like the Heritage Classic compared to the SLM??? Classic? The Heritage 810 is about as close to a flatback loaded with CTS's as you can get. Love this cab... Enjoy yours....
