Drum kit with cymbals: about $8000 (retail for like, 12-14k)
All the sticks and crap for my set: $400-500
Bass: $25
Guitar: $200 + $150 for strings/repairs
Violin: $600 (some german one if I remember right)
Violin: $200 (some cheap thing, first one)
Lessons to date: $6-7k

If I add in all the crap of my parents (I live with them and have access... yes it's cheating :D) hrm...
Another drum kit: $3500
Amps, speakers, etc: I'm estimating around $3-5k (maybe more)
Piano: no clue... $3-5k?

Used Zoom 506 (used for chromatic tuner) = $50
Lessons (to date) = ~$300

Wow, :eek: $2,040. I thought for sure I was under 2 grand. :(

Oh yeah, watching my kitties groove to the low-notes: priceless :D :cool:

I probably have close to 10K in my stuff but I couldn't get near that out of it if I tried to sell all of it. Buying new basses isn't a very good investment. From here on out I'm gonna try and buy used. It seems that used basses depreciate a lot less than new ones.
