I've got over US$15K in music gear, and I've got very little gear compared to many on here, and no boutique instruments either.

Over £8,000, which I guess is over $10,000. It's a bit scary when I think that I only play for fun, and only play a gig once in a while (for next to no money).

It probably sounds about as much as it's worth.

A new Combo AMP would beef it up some.

But, I'll only do it on the cheap. I gig locally, but my gear's reliable, and it fits the band I'm in.

When progress neccesitates a change, I'll deal with it.

I have a PA and a project/rehearsal studio in the basement... I don't even want to think about how much I've spent on the mixers (Mackie all the way!), cables, mics (ugh... LOTS of money spent here), stands, speakers, effects, etc.

I'm buying a house this month, so I guess I'll have to take a full inventory and figure out a total value to have added to my homeowner's insurance.

Out of the stuff I gig with (Zon Sonus, Steinberger, T.E. rig, and VBass), I'd say well over $6000. Total value of all of musical equipment is probably over that $20K mark.

Yeah... thanks for making me paranoid until I close on the new house and get my homeowner's insurance kicking. LOL
