I used to play through a GK MB 150 E (150 watts) on top of two Bullfrog cabs, a 15" on top of an 18".... I used the line out alot but there was no mud on my stage !!

Whoa, I don't think I've ever seen any Electric stuff on here before. Awesome. I think you need another 2x15 under that head though or a 4x12. *drools at image in head*

If I had the money, I'd be all over one of their 4x15's, and maybe a 6x12.

I have 2 Bag End S 15D cabs that I use with either my Walkabout head or my Eden WT 550...

I also have in my basement 2 Alembic bass bins that I purchased in the late 70's - each is equipped with a original JBL K 140 and a K 145... I would drive them with my SVT... simply awesome...

but they are way too big to move so they just sit in the basement..

Another vote for the classic pair of Bag End S15 D´s here!
I power mine with a Shuttle 6.0. It´s a great little rig. Last time after a basketball game a bass player from the audience came to check out my rig. He said, ¨Whoa! I thought I´d see some monster amp back here!¨ He went on to say that he plays with an Ampeg fridge, so he definitely know what rumble is!
After he complimented me on my loudness and nice tone, he said, ¨Oh and you play awesome too!¨. Funny how us bass players think

an old EV TL 606 (1x15")

Still have the one I built ages ago and is now loaded with a 400 watt 4 ohm Carvin speaker.

Main cab these days is an EV B115M; don't tell anyone but sometimes I turn the midrange driver on.
Also have a B215M cabinet but haven't played a stage big enough to use it in a long time.

Got to love the clarity and full range transparent sound of a large driver.
The only other type of cabinet that I've ever used was a Pevey with 1-18 and 2-10's. Sounded decent with a Stingray or Steinberger and a funk band.

I'm considering getting a couple of compact Ashdown ABM 115 cabs, both for the sake of portability and my love of that driver. Specs say frequency only goes to about 4k.

I dig old school sound and play a four strings. Will this config sound like mud?

Is that a sealed 15? I find that amp is way better with a aealed can - Im using a SVT410HE - would love to find a good 115 or 215 to use.

I run 15s and 12s no tweeters. I used to run a Ampeg SVT with a 8x10 and 2x15 next to this. I sold the SVT last year, I didn't like the way it sounded.

I'm currently rocking two ADA 1X15 cabs with factory EV's and a 2000RB head. This is probably one of the best rigs I've ever had. Not as thick of a low end as my V-Type 300 head I used to have, but a lot more headroom. Tons of definition. Lots of mid punch. No tweeter.

2x500w Flite 15s, 5 inch mid in the top one. I've since replaced the rack with a shuttle 6.0, and the regular rig is the Flite with the mid under an Avatar cube 12 with the horn turned off, but the 1200w double Flite rig was thundering to say the least, and the combined weight of the cabs together (even with the upgraded drivers) is around 56lbs. Yes, that's for BOTH of them!
