I never did see anything from them.

The Bassbreaker series are guitar not bass amps, they are based on the original Bassman circuit which according to Fender is the circuit that the "British Amps stole". Supposed to give the Fender line amps that directly compete with that "British Sound" as opposed to the "American Sound" they are known for.

Well, I've never played one of their basses, so please keep that in mind, but Marko (the founder/president/what-have-you) is a very active TB'er who is very helpful on here.

I've also met him in person once and he is a super-nice guy.

They've only been around for a year or so, but from what I've seen, everyone who has one of their basses has nothing but awesome things to say about them.

Also, they are very well-priced and from what I understand, very customizable. I think you can put in pretty much any pickup into any of their designs (Jazz pickups in a P-style bass, etc).

Were you able to play any of the Lairat basses? Those Arnopol cabs would have been cool too.

Plus...REMCO HENDRIKS WAS AT THEIR BOOTH! Of course I'm going to keep going back there to hear and watch him play!

Full disclosure: I am a Hammersmith customer and fan. I have a pretty good rapport with @MarkoYYZ, and he makes basses that I want.

Flimsy pickups - are they Lace Bass Bars? I have used the other lace pickups in that line, jazzBars I think they are called. They're pretty cool. Super lightweight because of no magnet, they have a different method of working. But work they do. In my case, I found I could not get them to mix with regular mag pickups, but i think together and as singles they're cool.

And about Hammersmith... I'm looking for a new Jazz-type and the J model with it's smaller size has me drooling, but... the Hammersnith facebook page is worthless (sorry), and they have no website. Can somebody help a brutha out? Make them a web page; I'm dying to see more of that Model J.

That's about right. They're also very light for the most part with downsized bodies and headstocks and light hardware available, and they're put together quite well. My PJ4 has been my main bass since I got it last year. Still love my other basses, but the Hammersmith feels so good on the shoulder that I use it most of the time these days as my only bass.
