Oh how I wish I could. Lake Placid blue is one of my favorite Fender Colorways ever too.

I understand, my Pbass doesn't leave me wanting per say, I've just always wanted to own a Ray haha.

it's a different flavor, and a good one at that. I highly recommend you try the real deal. I played a SR5 special HH for several years… went back to a P for my main bass and sold the Ray a few months ago.

Did you try the Jellyfish yesterday. I'm curious to hear. Is the Trickfish still an option?

I owned a Dingwall probably 15 years ago. It was a nice bass with a great B string for sure. I think this was before they had their version of P and J basses. It didn't take very long to get used to it.
I have an AV P5 bass, and he is currently working on a J5 for me. The P has a great B string, and I'm hoping the J can replace the EBMM.

The Jellyfish sounded great. It does the sound I typically dial in on the Grizzly very well, maybe even a bit better as the EQ can be tweaked.

The Trickfish can definitely do that same sound, too. But, I feel like that might not be the best use for it as it has even more versatile controls. I'm going to play with it some more and see if I can determine if I like it better in higher gain or lower gain applications.

The 37" B on the Dingwalls is amazingly tight and articulate. Very piano-like. The B on my Super J is less so, but I feel it's still at least on par with the B on the Stingrays.

I answered @abassman84 in PM (we've done business in the past so he messaged me directly), but I'll repeat my response here should others find it helpful:

To power the Doc Lloyd DLA-2A (or a Line 6 HX-series pedal or even a Neural Quad Cortex), I recommend a CIOKS Crux. It chains right out of a CIOKS DC7 or 8 Expander so you don't need any current doubler cables. (Which in turn frees up an output port to send isolated power to another pedal). In the case of the DLA-2A, you also don't need to buy a new flex cable: the DLA-2A is center-positive so that means you must use the red-tipped cable that comes with both the DC7 and 8. If you have a DC7 (which is necessary to use the Crux), you already have the appropriate cable :) Ensure your Crux is at 12v. The DLA draws 1.5A of current, but the Crux provides 2A at 12v (2.7A at 9v) so it is more than enough.

I posted my big board right before Easter, but here's something else I've been working on:

Mono Lite+ Bigfoot Edition
I owned a Khan DI in the past but sold it because its footprint and I/O layout isn't compact pedalboard friendly.

I wanted to see if it was possible to mount the Khan underneath a compact pedalboard. I've raised the heights of Pedaltrain and D'Addario pedalboards in the past by changing the feet out, but the Mono Lite and Lite+ pedalboards that I use have proprietary feet. AFAIK there's no replacement feet commercially available.

I have a pretty decent 3D printer, so I thought thought I'd try just printing my own feet. The Mono feet are friction mounted and removable, so it was pretty easy to take measurements and scale them up.

It was a bit of a balancing act getting the correct height for the feet. I needed clearance for the Kahn with Dual Lock, but I also need to make sure the board still fit in a Mono Tick (Mono Lite) or Studio Slips (Mono Lite+) bag. I cut it pretty close as you can tell in the pics.

Many thanks to @Erithon for helping with precise Khan measurements so I could prototype before I actually purchased a 2nd Khan. The measurements on the website are from an older version and incorrect.
