While your board is made up of nice pedals Stretchhh, I doubt many would feel envious of it. Its YOUR pedal, an extension of yourself, if you will. If tricking it out with bright lights like a ricer is your thing, awesome!

It is true and I installed the lights to help myself see the board when playing live as I am one tall mother ****er and it is hard to see without the lights in the venue we have where I live.

That is why I have strategically placed the stripe lighting on my board so it only illuminates the board and highlight where the pedals are.

I do agree some pedals LED's are awfully bright and can be blinding on stage.

Previously I've just been using the programmable sansamp, I got a zoom B3 for Christmas but haven't had a chance to play a service with it yet. Sometimes I run into my gk mb115 to use as a monitor but the signal I send to the board is from the sansamp.

I recently acquired one and have successfully used it in a praise and worship environment. I would highly recommend it, provided you can live without tap tempo.

I'm still playing around with my recent venture into the effects world, but here is my latest chain: Modulus Q5>Tu-3 Tuner>Swollen Pickle(fuzz)>Hartke VXL to board.

I just got the VXL a couple of weeks ago and like it so far. I haven't used the Pickle a whole lot yet for a fuzzy sound, but I've used it more to soften my sound for mellow tunes (i.e., Spirit Fall). I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it at church, but I'll see.

I've also used a Sparkle Drive (overdrive) that sounds pretty mean running it into the Pickle. I've just tried it at home with my amp, but have yet to play around with it in rehearsal.

This was silly excessive, but fun to try and manage. Played the Lakland, a weird small acoustic bass I stumbled upon which does EUB duty, and ran the Keith McMillen 12 step through Abelton.

SO excited about this thread. Never saw it before. I've had a few pedal board arrangements, but then had to sell all of my pedals (and board) due to $$$ issues.

But I have been recently inspired (and able) to make a new board.

So here's what I've got goin on.... and more than half of it is still on the way.

Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine

I'm really excited to get this all together and get jamming. I've had some of these pedals before and know what to expect. The Reverb Machine is FANTASTIC for ambient noise and fills.

Time for a bigger board, which I am actively searching out. Probably a PedalTrain PT-3 HC with a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus. Lots of options with the TC RH-450 head I just got with its presets and the A/B when I drag out the NS EUB.

I need to add some verb with top mounted jacks in an MXR sized box to my board for church stuff. Thinking I'm going to grab a Dr. Scientist RRR. Seems like it will fit the bill. The EQD Dispatch looks sweet, just has the jacks in the wrong place .

So I just passed on the BDI21 in exchange for a 6 band EQ. I have a 6 string jazz with an Audere preamp (which sounds fantastic, so I don't think I'd need the BDI) and a standard Passive P bass. I figured that I wouldn't use the BDI with my jazz bass, and with the P, I really just need some basic EQ shaping, I want to keep that P bass sound.

So my chain on the Pedaltrain nano will go:

TC Polytune Mini
Joyo 6 Band EQ
Red Witch 7 Sisters Scarlet Overdrive
Hotone Eko Mini Delay
Behringer RV600 Reverb Machine

Can't wait. I have the Behringer and the Seven Sisters OD already. Can't wait to get the others in and put it all together!
