Worst band name you have ever heard.

seems to me the worth of the name depends on the level of band success. There's nothing magical about The Beatles (a misspelling, for chrissakes), The Who, Yes, Cream, Grateful Dead, etc, etc, except that each of them achieved worldwide fame. If those bands had been duds, we'd be talking about how stupid their names were.

Mispelling lol

Play on words... beat... music beat... beatles...

Im glad i finally got to reveal that piece of knowledge known only to me until this moment

LoL just kidding

There are no worst band names, there are only good bands and not so good bands.

If there wasn't already a "Beatles" or a "Pink Floyd" would anyone think those were good band names? Probably not a large percentage of us.

Worst band names can really turn around fast when the band that wears the bad name has a big hit.

I think most of those are pretty good names, Grateful Dead in particular. The Beatles, though... wow, that name sucks. I don’t care how iconic and important they were, their name was and is still terrible.

I used to play with a drummer (of course) who was in a band called, ready? Mass Eruption!:roflmao: (Mass was the old abbreviation for Massachusetts), I laugh every time I think of it. Anytime I'm in a new band situation and we start tossing around names I pull it just to get a reaction and it gets plenty. Got any really bad band names that can rival that one? I shudder as I await your bad names.

Seems like most people here think that worst names are those containing profanity :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
To me, worst names are those bland and trivial such as, for example, "Radiohead". Geeez. It's difficult to imagine something with less personality. Boring like their music.
The name was taken from a Talking Heads song which is why David Byrne inducted them into the hall of fame recently.
