I thought the OCD and, in turn, the UD were both tubescreamers......
I might be completely wrong since my only source on this is the internet, but what I read was that he OCD was a clone of the Voodoo Labs OD, which was based on the DOD 250 with an added gain stage. And, the DOD 250 was a MXR Distortion + clone. Not sure if the Dist+ is a clone itself. So, basically, that makes the OCD a clone of a clone of a clone, at least. Suddenly, the Joyo UD does not seem like an evil thing at all![]()
so which one, UD or vintage, would do a very low gain/slight overdrive sound better?
I'm confused... Why do you use a bass OD if not for devil music?![]()

Can't say I've ever had a problem with any dirt/fuzz pedal going back and forth from passive to active.
Would running the EMG system at 18V make any difference for what I am trying to do?
