XLNT SUPER CHEAP bass overdrive

I think that's a great idea!!!
I just started an amptweaker club but apparently i'm the only amptweaker fan on tb lol

I figure you have to own one before you're in the club...but man, they're on my "hypothetical" list.

My Eventide club seems to have stalled at 5 members for the moment.

That's a little surprising. I'd think most would be somewhat fanatic about their eventides. Plus I see a lot of guys with eventides on their boards.

I "advertised" for it in the PYPB thread and a few of the more well-known users said they didn't "do the club thing."

I know tb is full of clubs, but if done properly they can be awesome with great info and good people i've made good friends on tb through clubs

Yeah, I agree. That's why I started it, not just as a fan-boy thing, but because I wanted to see if people would share experiences, ideas, presets, etc. I don't begrudge anyone their choice to not "get involved" in a club, but I would have liked to have them share some of their wisdom.

Alright, I'll try to stop highjacking this thread. I don't need another OD, but if I did, this Joyo does seem like a pretty good deal.

So, ordered one of these bad boys. Is everyone running their's straight or has anyone modded theirs? Did a quick search and found 6-10 relatively easy mods and was curious....

What sort of mods? Mine should be here next week and I keep hearing it sounds great stock and I wasn't planning on modding mine except to strip the paint off the housing but I'm curious to know what kind of mods there are available.

One little niggle I've noticed about the Joyo is that you have to have it boosted from the clean signal to match intensity in the low end in a mix. On today's gig, it was sounding a little bit weak in the lows, and I turned it up a bit, and all of a sudden it wasn't weak anymore. I guess that's par for the course in a lot of OD pedals, though.
