You might be a Californian if...........?

Hey man, you're scaring me. I've always wanted to see the Redwoods and the Sequoias again (haven't been since I was 9) but you're making your neck of the woods sound like Appalachia. :D

Hey, I resemble that remark.

Actually the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life was watching my father-in-law for the first time "flat footing" at a wedding. For those of you who don't know what "flat footing" is, it's a type of Appalachian folk dance that looks like shuffling your feet real fast. I thought I was going to die from lack of oxygen.

Yup, anyone who thinks all californians are the same is in for a big suprise if they come here. People in a small town near Susanville (Northeast California) made it clear that we were not welcome for a reason that no one would think twice around here. The farmers in the central valley probably think us city dwellers are all nuts. :p There is also quite a difference between the L.A. culture and the S.F. culture. Not saying either one is good or bad but we are different.

I am in between Redding and Susanville. I live in Shingletown but my family has over 500 acres near Viola, that we keep as our own private hunting reserve. (meaning we preserve the wildlife from everyone else, so we can hunt and kill it...LOL)
