    I need some strings advise for my D-bird. I use DR Hi Beams on all my normal scale basses. It seems like they are just a bit to tight for my D-bird. Any steel string recommendations?

    So. Strings. I'm getting my hands on an ABI pretty soon and have no idea where to start my long scale string journey. Any good suggestions out there? My Super J covers my plectrum rock n roll sound, so I'm going for the finger playing tight pop bass sound here.

    Yes, Quantum is leaps ahead, but I'm awaiting my Axe FX III and I'm quite excited to see if it's so much better as all the reviews states.
