also, i think deerhoof is doing some really cool stuff now. a little on the avant-garde side of the tracks, but with tons of raw energy, cool sounds, new-sounding arrangements and expressive vocals.

dorfmeister, if you search the rest of this forum, you will find tons of stuff about practicing and improving as a musician. jmj's not about to recommend a method book or anything like that, but there's tons of stuff on here about jamming with other musicians, playing along with your favorite...

hey just wanted to say i watched your youtube vids. you sound really good! try to step back and realize that not making a living playing music is not the end of the world. all of us are human beings first, and musicians second. if you get an education, a job, and whatever else, music...
