thanks bret but unfortunately the A/B only seems to switch between amp modal EQ settings-FX and other parameters are unaffected

can solder to the board (PCB) and re-route it to battery box for super clean look....or you can just splice the wire with some elec tape, crimp wire tubes, or wire nuts w/e ....i soldered to the board but it doesnt matter a connection is a connection ya know....

my 08 SR300 ROM had a smashed battery terminal, also the leads were very short so i just picked up a 3 pack of replacement 9 volt clips from Radio Shack for about a buck and installed them prob solved good luck...

yea even the SR300 hss avery thin curvy body a huge upgrade beyond the contours of my 90s Soundgears....which were kinda thick and not curvy when i compare them to my newer SRs.....

i own SR300 ROM '08 , SR505 BM '06 , SR755 BBTKF '10 ....i dislike the SRXs and the "newer" EDBs -which are NOTHING like the EDBs of the 90s- .....i like my SR300 ROM '08 BEST OF ALL....the "style sweeper" EQ is fun and usefull....it has all the proper ugrades as well. easy loading/string...

i recently went with a Crown XLS1500 and i agree with all above... though im suprised no1 is gonna mention the need for BALANCED cables...i mean the first thing i did was plug in my UNbalanced 1/4 to the Crown and i was sure someting was wrong it was barely loud at all on 100% pusing 6x10...
