Yes. The end next to the pickups and the nut slots deep enough so the string is .010 to .015 off of the fretboard. I got to thinking that I wasn't very clear on either of those. Sorry.

If you deepen the nut slots to about .010 to .015 and set the string height at 1/16" at the high end of the fingerboard you will get the Mwah you're looking for. Make these adjustments after you have set the intonation. Flat wound or round wound.

I use a tuner, compressor, octave, overdrive, Q filter, and flange. The thing about pedals is that they are like cologne. Too much just stinks. Says the guy with a board full of them. lol
