    Your prettiest bass

Could have gone for the faded, road worn approach but shiny new nitro shell pink makes a statement.

    ornary sellers?!?

I recently sold an American professional strat on a NZ auction site. The listing title was literally "Fender American Professional Stratocaster" and the first 10 questions asked were "where is it made ?". Idiots. Also, I've seen Fender road worn guitars being sold and people in the question...

Olympic white... Will it age under poly?

I have a 4 year old Fender with a poly finish on the neck. With the neck off, you can clearly see the difference between the very light maple from inside the neck pocket and the honey like, almost tinted appearance of the rest that can only be from exposure to UV ?.

    Is this a fake?

You are supposed to drill into the body if you want to install the covers. My 1984 Fullerton P Bass had no holes for pickup cover in the body and 2 slight indentations in the body for the bridge cover.

    New (old) Bass Day

Hey All, Just wanted to share my new 1996 Warwick Streamer Stage 1. Came with original strings from the factory and a massive 7mm neck relief. After 3 hours of cleaning 25 years of D.N.A and a surprisingly uneventful truss rod adjustment, I'm busy getting my Stuart Zender good vibes on. Cheers

Don't use any i mean anything to cleanup your unfinished maple fingerboard

I rarely clean any of my gear, let alone fretboards. If i do, i use the F-one stuff one fret space at a time wipe on, wipe off instantly. Never leave any cleaner/conditioner oil sitting on your fretboard.

That moment when your new bass finally feels like it's your bass

Won myself this beautiful 84 Fullerton reissue P bass on an online auction website without trying before buying. 20 minutes after the courier delivered it, it had a new set of flats, full set up and straight away felt like i'd owned it for 30 years.
