Good to know. I'd been flirting with picking up a used quadbox (4x12) to use as an xtn for the little Boogie, an F50 combo - then kicked myself and thought "Duh, just use what you have!" Sounds enormous too.

I'm piggybacking the EVM-15B cab with a 12L in the top box. Unfortunately, to do this means running both my 50 watt Boogie's 4 Ohm extn speaker outputs (one to each cab for combined 8 Ohm amp load) - so I don't think I can use/build an active crossover.

Here it be. I'm occasionally using it for strat in combo with the Boogie TL806 pictured. In that config I'm powering them both with a 50watt Mesa head, though I've been warned about feeding guitar frequency into a bass speaker it sounds huge.

Twelve years late to the party, I'm interested because I recently picked up an identical GK TL606 bin with oem EVM-15B. I'm using it with a wee Gnome class D amp for bass, and was curious about the 15B's rms rating.

The Zalinge is predominant, to my ear.

The Elf was a disappointment - idiotic compression. Fan noise. Mine began turning itself off, and that was that. Gnome is vastly superior. Adequate dB @ 8 ohms load into an EVM-15B.

Hoped Elf 2x8 would do the trick, but it kept spitting at me. Found one of Bill Gallien's oldies, a 115T (t as in TL606) with correct EVM-15B. Gnome can certainly manage 2x8ohm parallel - but the Elf has to leave for better days elsewhere. EVM does it better. No-name jb isn't - found my dream...

It's a 15B, built week 21 1995, 200 watts @ 8ohms.

115T white logo cabs contained the EVM. I picked one up yesterday. When I've figured out how to pop the grille without destroying it, I'll pull the driver and work out whether it's an EVM-15L or B, 200 or 400 watt (probably 200).

GK 115T is very much along EV TL606 lines. Front port bisected by one central brace instead of two, but still 2" high x cab width. Power handling depends on which EVM was used, either 200 or 400 watts @ 8ohm.

Got the 115T home from upriver. Really couldn't bring it past the mothership airlock straight away, had to peel off a layer of tobacco tar. It. Is. Exactly. What I had hoped for. Looks so silly, you'd have to admit.
