What a strange design the original bridge is...this nice, heavy bridge, fairly well made, but with only one height adjuster screw per string! Not only does it guarantee each bridge saddle will be on an angled lean, but it puts pressure on that screw and apparently warps them. Such is the case...

Just got a Samick Royale Bass, and was thinking of putting some T.I. flats on it that I had. But due to its stop tailpiece, they don't QUITE fit...the E string has maybe a quarter inch of silk over the nut. The metal wraps seem to go over fine though. Would there be a downside on just cutting...
