Man, i was playing around with this bass at gc this weekend. Really like the sound/tone that this thing produces. I was playing it through a mark bass amp. Very impressed with both items.

I havent had time to play with too many basses. But on one of the vids, Jesse does acouple of screaming backup lines into his pick ups and you can hear it, sounds very distorted, but kinda cool. Is this because he has the pickups wired straight to his volume or can you do that on "hot" pickups to?

Ibanez srx2ex1 is my first bass. I like the styling of the bass, the think neck and the bang for your buck. Its a cool bass, sounds good, probably will change electronics in the future. Just wish it had more sustain. Look wise, rickenbacker 4003 blows all the basses out of the water.
