Wow, I read through most of that and I was surprised how scooped it is, especially with the Aural Enhancer. But even with it off, it's still scooped. If I owned the amp I'd definitely try the mod mentioned in that thread. It seems like a lot of people liked bypassing the Enhancer.

That actually came stock with the Genz Benz amp! The amp's eq is a little flatter than a bass amp so it works great for the upright bass.

The Genz Benz works well for upright or acoustic gigs. I add the MB cab for more power.

Wow, they put the longest scale instrument on the bottom. That means that you'd have to hike this up high just to reach the bass easily unless you have crazy long arms!

I'm Asian and I've been gigging for a long time. I've played everything from country to R&B and metal and many times I heard comments and got dirty looks before a gig but usually after the gig, everyone is cool.

Nope, no difference. I have several Mogami cables and the build quality is nice but blindfolded you wouldn't notice a difference and I have cables that are 1/4 the price that have lasted longer without issues.

How loud would you say this is? Loud as a decent 2x10?
