I have never found a boost useful, BUT I have only ever liked solid-state amps, and really only record (rarely play live), so I can just boost volume by hand as needed. (So I am super biased) However if you do have a tube amp I could really see wanting a boost.

The Warped Vinyl is great, if you like chorus pedals, you can get alot of different tones and sounds from it, and I rarely mess with all the dip switches on the back, so I have barely scratched the surface of what his pedals can do!

I really like the Flex, really fun noise pedal, goes crazy with the tap of a fret, I've only had the Flex Pro for a couple weeks, and overall I think I like the Flex (regular) better, I rarely use the LFO on the Pro, it is really crazy and almost too noisy, makes a nice pulse sound though.

Sounds like velcro, I love it, I like it even better through the BigBottom crossover/blend, really helps put alot of bass back in!

I think that is just where I turned the gate knob completely off. I don't think I messed with the mix knob at all, I kept it about noon, which is 50/50.

I got it to be a tight gated fuzz to counter my muff. It can get super tight, almost too much, if the gate knob is pushed too high you get a lot of splattering buzz. The sound can go from a sputtering super atonal splat to a "normal" open and heavy fuzz. I replaced my Earthquaker Terminal with...

Yeah, I am running it at the start of my pedalboard, first pedal after tuner, and I am using a 70s Gibson grabber and a rickenbacker, both have pretty low output when compared to other modern basses.

Its really more noticeable when just using the headphone output, it sounds much clearer with my headphones. I originally tried it to see if it could clear up and push more volume through my headphones, and I think it worked. But I dont think it really makes a difference on the normal amp output...

Im just a neat freak, so its super messy to me, plus I dont like have the audio and power cables intertwined like that, even though everything is shielded, I always think there might be some added noise from them touching each other. (Could be a mild OCD, lol)

The Terminal is great, super tight fuzz. it reminds me of the Zvex Wolly Mammoth, but maybe a bit buzzier. I have it in the Big Bottom loop and blend in some clean low end, so I cant vouch for the bass retention with the Terminal alone. But it sounds really powerful clean blended.

Started messing around with the Zuul today. Way too fun! If you like noise, you need one. Pumping it through other pedals, just increases the chaos.
