No. But use some 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper that has been soaked overnight in water. Lightly sand the logo off. Then take a dremel tool with the little white buffing wheel on it, use very light pressure and shine it back up.

My Squier P was a 4mm. Now it's more like 4.5683 mm since the previous owner gooched it. Now neither a 4 or 5 mm fit. But the action is where it needs to be after switching to flats so I'm not too worried about it........yet.

I agree with uwrossl about wiping them down with alcohol. I just put some Chrome Flats on and they were somewhat sticky. After wiping them down with denatured alcohol they are smooth as silk.

I just got mine two weeks ago. I didn't like the strings that came with it. I picked up a Babicz bridge from another TBer, put Chrome Flats on it, gave it a good set up and I am really digging it.

Used is used, but current condition will determine the price point for me. I've seen one owner instruments owned by teens where condition runs from like new to beat to crap. Likewise for adult ownership.
