Removed as in no longer installed on AG cabs?
Although I'm looking for some kind of public announcement from AG, that point, while highly circumstantial, is very damning.
As to whether two Accugroove cabinets would work together, that may well be true, but that was not the claim about the Accuswitch. If the switch is in the 8 ohm position, it should (if it worked) allow you to use an Accugroove Cab with an 8ohm Acme cab on a 4 ohm rated amp.
Could this be a semantics issue of some sort on AG's part??
But I follow your logic.
There was no where which said it had to be two Accugroove cabinets.
Another good point.
It's just that I hate to think of the folks at AG as a bunch of snake oil salesmen/women.
I've wanted an AG cab long enough that I'm bitterly disappointed by the possibility that their moral character is strongly in question.
Interaction with TBers in the past by AG has implied/created a trusted/special relationship. Which if the accuswitch is indeed (as it appears) bogus, the relationship has been violated. At least that is the way I see it.
But then I too (I think we all have) have disappointed people who trusted me.
I dunno.
I really hope that AG puts out some sort of announcement/apology about this issue. If they did wrong, it's easier to give someone a second chance when they've addmitted their mistakes as opposed to those who won't.

Joe.
