Argument in store over used bass

Are you sure it was that photo, and not this one?

I took this photo at my local GC on Black Friday 2013.
The store was blowing out Epi Les Paul Juniors for $89. Sheer mayhem!
I counted three broken limbs in all -- which I think all will agree was small price to pay for the resultant music
(wherever it is to be found -- online, presumably).

I once saw a bass at GC for $89 bucks...after one double take, I picked it up and twirled it around in my hands, checked the action...some random P bass body with a Warmoth birdseye maple neck...I had the bass at the counter in about 15 seconds with my card out saying "I'll take it!".

That is how you should treat this kind of deal.

I called it my '89 P bass. I later sold it for $300!

I've never fought for an item or grabbed something someone else was looking at at all.

I'm just not so entitled or selfish to think that because I tried something or wanted something that it's mine.
Ok. Next time you put a bass down in a store to pick up another one & try it out in a side-by-side, I'm going to pick up the one you were just playing & walk off with it.

I still agree with the comments saying the d bag won because I know I wouldn't spend 50$ on an epiphone t bird. those things neck dive like crazy and won't fit in a standard case!
Odd. My Classic IV-Pro has zero neck dive and fits just fine in my case...in fact, the case I was going to buy for it was actually smaller than a standard case.

here my 2 cents:

You friend are way undervaluing your advice. Particularly the bit where you invited the OP to be the better man, sage advice.

It's not the Taco Bass Recovery thread but it has certainly become entertaining.

I disagree, that was a classic thread that ended up with a stolen bass being re-united with it's owner and a whole bunch of taco joints I MUST try.

Although I appreciate the heroic efforts of those trying to derail this thread to a useful topic, i.e. salmon, I don't see it ever reaching Taco Bass Recovery status, that thread frankly was epic, this is just stupid and sad.

EDIT: But it does have the same sick allure of a car crash, your eyes just keep gravitating towards it.

Thats soooo american, guns, knives, police (doing their job, not beating black people), aa winner, a loser... should watch more european movies, sometimes both guys die, and the bass jumps out of a window.

And you should get your news from somnewhere beside

You appreciate the efforts of a mis-guided auto-correct mistake??

Well, no more strange than anything else said here today...
