At this time I don't plan on doing the guitar cab. Imo at best it still would not be enough of an improvement to be worth an uphill battle in the guitar world.

I do plan on continuing to build 112 bass cabs. I will do 4/8 ohm 115's until I get low on woofers and then I'll stop and hang on to a few in case anyone blows one, but the 112's use an off-the-shelf woofer, which vastly simplifies things on my end.

Duke, I've owned a 1 port 112 Hathor for four years now and love it. But, when you start a TC118 list, I'm 100% in.

I could theoretically do 8-ohm 115 cabs, but they wouldn't have the upper-mid bumpage that my custom 4-ohm 15" woofer has.

That's too bad. The 4-ohm 15" sure seems to hit a nice sweet spot of extremely capable and quite compact, and it can be nicely driven by a 500-ish Watt microhead. If I were to upgrade my TC112 someday, the TC115 looks ideal, or maybe the Changeling. Maybe Eminence will come to their senses some day and add this driver (or a similar one) to their catalog.

Sad to hear the news about the 4 ohm 15", although perfectly understandable. Man, I am in love with my straight 4 ohm H1506 driven with a D800. As I mentioned here once previously, if I had another one I would even sell my H1203 pair.

Those side handles rock, as I schlepp my hathor 1533 up and down several flights of steps.

I like the side handles, for sure.

I like the inset flush-mounted side handles on the TC212. Side handles are needed on that cab because it's larger and heavier. I wish they were situated higher than they are, but it may may just be a v1 issue.

I like the top handle strap on the Hathor 112 because it makes it easy to carry, and the handle strap is recessed so as to not interfere with situating an amp head above it.

I use both sets of handles on my 212, they are a much appreciated feature. Top for level ground, side handles for stairs.

The side handles get an A+++, as far as I’m concerned .... ty

Big fan of the gorgeous leather top handles here! I especially appreciate the recess as helpful in positioning a head. I never use the side handles (there’s one in every crowd ).
