It varies. SVT-7 PRO, Veyron Tube, Veyron MOSFET, Multiamp, or my latest GK MB Fusion Tube.
The Tank does sound great and gets impressively loud. My descriptors as "small" and "middy" were only in comparison to the F212. The first time I played (the Tank) it didn't strike me as overly neither (small nor middy). Definately wins the cool finish prize with the brown gator skin.
The heads we tried with both cabs were just as decribed around here ad nauseum. Darker, thumpier, vintagy Streamliner, modern more open MBF800.

One thing about the Tank 1212 I do like and has got me strongly considering purchasing one is it's size & weight. I very much want a small & light weight cabinet that will work as a stand alone solution for me. For me, I just play my bass with other 50 something year olds and do the occasional bar gig. I don't need volumes typically associated with younger folks playing Avenge 7Fold.
Fearless does make really great products. I've played their F112 & F115 cabinets. The F112 & F115 cabinets have extra terrestrial performance capabilities associated with them. The F115 by any definition is a small and light weight cab and is from my experience still a bit large. I have not played an F212. I'm certain the F212 is an amazing cabinet. For me, based only on the Fearful F212 size and weight it is not for me.
For me, when I receive a phone call asking me if I'd like to get together part of my decision making process is how much I want to haul my gear. I'd love to be able to simply grab a small/light weight cabinet that sounds great and is loud for my needs. I've never seen or heard any BBC products in person.
However on paper they sure do seem as if all my needs are met. Factor in real world hands on comments from Dave Hill and anothers plus BBC pricing and I'm hopeful this sounding to good to be true is in-fact a physical reality.

The Tank is way easier to lift and move than my F212 (65 lbs), despite the tiltback wheels.

Good luck. Boutique cab builders came around to what boutique bass builders discovered awhile ago; people are willing to pay big money for good gear.
So as a commercial user I'm supposed to let blatant misinformation on pricing stand? If he had said that you were selling cabs for more than you were and the comparable cab that he liked was being sold for less than it is, you'd have to remain silent?
I'm sure a mod can let me know if what I quoted and countered is allowed. I didn't bring up pricing. I know that is not allowed.
And I'd appreciate not having another thread about our cabinets hijacked and closed.

Nice to see more discussion on the BBC Tank's. I'm just chiming in here. Personally, I have yet to play in a venue where the Tank 212SE didn't fit the bill volume and tone-wise. I've played super small, office-type venues, larger church sanctuaries with no PA-support, to most recently Jaycee's in Waldorf, MD, which can seat a maximum of 500ppl (there was PA-support here). So far I've played my Eden WT800C and Bugera Veyron through it and I've really enjoyed how well the cab realizes each amp's tone/features. The size and weight are very pleasant bonuses! I'd definitely recommend the cab, to anyone really, but particularly people who want the volume and "their" tone in a package that fits in two door sport cars. I hope eventually everyone will get a chance to hear/play the Tank for themselves, they're really worth a try.

My first impression is this BBC Tank 1212 lives up to its advertising and truly is a botoque super bass cabinet. Brad & Drue are straight forward and veru easy to work with. It's a great stand alone bass cabinet. sturdy, sounds great, compact, light weight and even has that wonderful "New Cab" smell. .

Thanks! You have a Tank 1212SE? Next week I'll have it in a live band setting. I'm expecting only high end performance.
You're welcome Brad and thanks for putting up with my many-many questions. Although I've not yet had it in a live band setting from my playing it yesterday and today I imagine my Tank 1212 will exceed expectations. I turned the volume up a bit in my home music room and the volume and fullness of sound was very tight, punchy, articulate and more thunder than I need.
