(Well OK, I always thought Axl's voice was nasty but I admit that is my opinion)

Then there's that second issue I have which is his utter contempt for his fans. The "late" issue? That's not cute and it's not nice. It's Axl never really gave a S*** that people were paying to see him.

My respect for him? 0

DEAD SERIOUS.

I'm not a big lyric guy...i don't care how many verses there are. My criteria is simple, can you play a song that makes the hair on my arm stand up, not just today, but any day I hear it for what 25 years or so?

I'm not a fan-boy or personal friend of Axl's, so I have no idea how he feels about anything. And I don't care how he feels about anything. As far as not being cute or nice...a metal band doesn't have to be cute and nice, IMO.

I just added the HS deT on the E. It is designed to be and is a perfect match.

Most people don't notice it is there. Only bassists used to 4's will give you a second look when you pull the lever and drop the whole step.

I've heard some of their stuff - mostly what's on the Halcyon Digest album. It's an interesting sound. I like it, but it doesn't rotate to the top of my "can't live without listening to this right now" list very often.

Right now I'm on a kick of listening to Trampled by Turtles and Bon Iver and the turtles are winning by miles.

Love Bon Iver. He's a fellow Cheesehead.

I'm currently trapped in a Deerhunter/Rush/TVOTR/Miles Davis/Tinarwin thing right now.

The reason for me asking is I have most of Deerhunter's "Desire Lines" down, except for the bass line from the instrumental interlude. He has some changes there that I get confused on and was wondering if anyone played it before?

Just checked out the site for Trampled by Turtles. Wow. Wish I would have seen this a few days ago cause they just played Milwaukee on the 28th!

Thank god for my indi non commercial music station that plays actual music, not the crap kissfm tells you to listen to.
